Mrs. Earl (Ruth G.) Lemke, 61, of Kellogg, died June 29 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines, from leukemia.
Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the Kellogg Methodist Church. The Rev. Trevor Davis-Hajek will officiate and burial will be at Newton Memorial Gardens. Hamilton Funeral Home, Des Moines, is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are her husband, Earl of Kellogg; one daughter, Susane Shenton of Kalamazoo, Mich.; one grandchild; three sisters, Donna Hunter of Kellogg, Barbara Gillian of Hartwick, and Betty Phipps of Riverside, Calif.; and two brothers, Joseph Triplett and Bezzar Triplett, both of Riverside, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert, Raymond and Pick; and a sister, Bobbette Henning.
Mrs. Lemke was a member of the Kellogg Museum Auxiliary and Kellogg Methodist Church.
She worked for 18 years as a press operator at Midwest Metal Manufacturing, and for two years at the local post office.
The daughter of Lewellyn and Faye Smith Triplett, she was born Nov. 23, 1923, in Long Pine, Neb.
