Mrs. Maggie Lamb, widow of the late John A. Lamb, died in the hospital at Tacoma, Wash., on Saturday, the 21’ ult., (of last month). Mrs. Lamb is well remembered by a majority of our people as she was for many years a resident of Newton and was prominent in religious and social circles and a zealous member of the M. E. Church. She leaves three children – Mrs. Nellie Cummins of Tacoma, with whom she was making her home, Albert Lamb, now of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Henry Lamb in England.
