Prairie City – Mrs. Margaret Dodds died peacefully at her home in Prairie City on Friday, May 10, after a short illness, due to the infirmities of old age. The funeral services were held at the Congregational church in Prairie City, of which Mrs. Dodds was a member, Sunday afternoon at two o’clock, and the services were conducted by her pastor Rev. G. B. Deakin and he was assisted by Elder C. H. Strawn of the Christian church. She was 79 years old and had been a resident of Prairie City since 1870.
