Mary Agnes Irene Clark Martain (sic) died Feb. 10, 2019, in village of Oak Creek, Ariz. Mary was born Oct. 6, 1927, near Valeria, to Ralph Theodore and Ruth Angeline (Sager) Clark.
Mary had been married three times, Helmer Heiberg, John Bear and Hershell Martin. She had resided in Rhodes and Colfax, before moving to Arizona.
Mary had five children, those surviving her are, Melvin (Vicki) Bear of Sioux City, Charles Bear of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Sandy (Carol) Bear of Cottonwood, Ariz., and Grace (Everette) Eschliman of Norfolk, Neb.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Neoma Clark, Jeanne Smith, Ken Taylor, Pearl Snook, William Snook and Carol Irene Snook (Teddy) Dickover; and many nephews, nieces and cousins in Iowa, Missouri, Illinois and Georgia.
Preceding her in death were her parents; John Bear in 1983; Hershel Martin in 2011; and son Mark Bear in 2009; and siblings, James Clark (Korean War), Mary Margaret Griffin Fairchild (Emma Clark) and Leroy Charles Snook.
There will be a graveside service at Ashton Cemetery in the spring.
