SALISBURY, N.C. - K. Kevin Borst, 43, of Salisbury, N.C., formerly of Newton, died Monday, Aug. 14, at his residence.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Summersett Memorial Chapel in Salisbury, N.C.

Burial will be at Rowan Memorial Park in Salisbury, N.C.

Memorials to Crossroad Community Church in Sallisbury, N.C., 205 Mocksville Ave., Suite 1, Salisbury, N.C. 28144 or to Duke University Bone Marrow Transplant Program "Tree of Life," P.O. Box 3961, Durham, N.C. 27710 will be accepted.

The son of K. Max and Mary Ann Lansrud Borst, he was born Sept. 18, 1956, in Newton.

He was educated in Newton and received his nursing degree from the Iowa Methodist School of Nursing in Des Moines. He married Jennifer Barnes Nov. 4, 1978.

Mr. Borst was employed as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Parke-Davis Pharmaceuticals. He was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Salisbury, N.C.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Bradley, Matthew and Andrew, all of Salisbury, N.C.; his parents; a brother, J. Michael of Altoona; and his paternal grandmother, Alice McCarney Borst of Springfield, Ohio.
