Funeral services for Jasper C. Connett, who died Saturday morning, were held Tuesday afternoon at Hamilton-Powers funeral home in Des Moines. Interment was made in the cemetery at Vandalia. Deceased was born January 11, 1862, near Vandalia, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Miss Corda Reynolds in Prairie City thirty years ago. The deceased is survived by the widow, one sister, one brother, Mrs. Oma Tyler, of Vandalia, Newton Connett, of Des Moines, and two half-sisters, Mrs. Janie West, of Kansas, and Mrs. Josie Best, of Nebraska.
