Obituary of William Remington

William E. Remington, the son of Willie E. and Rena Cox Remington, was born March 1, 1925 in Caddo, Texas. Bill graduated from the Herbert Hoover High School in Glendale California in 1943. Bill served his country in the U.S. Army from 1943-1946.

On March 25, 1949 Bill was united in marriage with Erma L. Norris at the North Glendale Methodist Church. Bill worked for the Cheveron Corporation for 29 ½ years. He retired in 1982 as a refinery maintenance mechanic. Bill was a member of the El Segundo Masonic Lodge #421.

Bill died on Friday, February 22, 2019 at MercyOne Newton Medical Center. He was 93 years old. Bill was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to honor Bill's memory include his wife, Erma of Newton, Iowa.
