Mrs. De Lee Passed Away Sat. Night
Mrs. W. G. De Lee passed away about four o’clock last Saturday afternoon after an illness of nine weeks, during which she suffered a complication of diseases. She was a Christian Scientist so no physician had charge of the case, and the exact cause of her trouble was not known.
She leaves her husband and fourteen year old daughter Ruth. The body was shipped to the family home at Omaha yesterday afternoon.
The De Lees came to Newton January first of this year, having moved here from Dallas, Texas. For several years Mr. De Lee has been in charge of the One Minute Company’s branch house at Dallas, but he came here as Advertising manager for that company. He resigned his position July first of this year.
Mrs. De Lee was just thirty-five years old. She was a pleasant, kindly woman, who was a great favorite among the Newton people who became acquainted with her during her residence here.
