Reynolds Rites Today
Father of 7 Local Residents Dies at Creston, Was 87 Years Old
Funeral services were held today for Charles E. Reynolds of Creston, Ia., a former resident and father of seven residents.
Mr. Reynolds, 87 years, died at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Smith of Creston. He went to Creston to make his home about six years ago.
He is survived by nine children. They are Mrs. Jay Smith and Lois Bellwood, both of Creston, W. G., Charles E., S. A., Thomas, Joseph, Harry and Peter, all of Newton. Twenty-eight children and many great grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Reynolds preceded him in death several years ago. Two sons, S. F. and R. E. Reynolds, preceded him in death.
