Bayse, Howard – 1918-2008

Howard was born Sept. 13, 1918 in Newton to Luther and Arminta (McKenzie) Bayse.
He worked in Maintenance Services for the Maytag Corporation for 22 years before retiring in 1978. Prior to working for Maytag he was a farmer. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Bolivar, Mo. and was a United States Army Veteran serving in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his first wife; Emma Jean Bayse (3 Dec 1925 – 30 Aug 1955, age 29); two daughters - Virginia Mae Bayse Etten and Ruth Pauline Rodriguez; an infant sister; three brothers - Clyde Bayse, Harold Bayse, Roy Bayse; and a great-grandson, Samuel Cartwright.

Note: Howard died at Springfield, MO and was buried at Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake, Iowa. His first wife; Emma Jean Bayse was born 3 Dec 1925, died 30 Aug 1955, at age 29; also buried at Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake, Iowa. His daughter Virginia Mae Bayse Etten was born 20 Jan 1945, died 27 Dec 2001 at the age of 56 and is buried at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery; survived by husband Earl E. Etten. Ruth Pauline Bayse Rodriguez was born in 1950, died 19 Sept. 1986 and is buried in Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa
