Former County Resident Dies
Mrs. Alice Whittaker Wilkins of Gladbrook Dies Friday Morning
Mrs. Alice Whitaker Wilkins, 39, of Gladbrook, native Jasper county resident, died at a Marshalltown hospital Friday morning as the result of an operation submitted to Wednesday.
Funeral services will be conducted from the German church in Gladbrook Monday at 1:00 p.m.
Mrs. Wilkins, daughter of the late J. H. Whittaker and Mrs. Whittaker, was born in Jasper county and grew to womanhood here.
Surviving relatives are her husband, Henry Wilkins, and three daughters of Gladbrook; her mother, Mrs. J. H. Whittaker of Ames; two brothers, Ervin and Fred W. Whittaker of Newton, and two sisters, Mabel Whittaker of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Jennie Whittaker of Ames.
