SHOOFSTALL, STUMBACK

PRAIRIE CITY – Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Shoofstall were conducted by Rev. James H. Findley pastor of the Methodist church from the Walters Funeral Home Monday afternoon, Dec. 28.
Music was furnished by Edith Perry who sang, “God Will Take Care of You”, and “Face to Face”, with Mrs. Marie Danley at the piano. Burial was in Waveland Cemetery.
Anna Shoofstall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Stumback was born in Moline, Ill., Sept. 13, 1854 and died at her home in Prairie City, Dec. 25, following a short illness.
In 1881 she was united in marriage to Z. T. Shoofstall who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Harry D. of Briceland, Minn., and Ralph R. of Prairie City; also three sisters and a number of grandchildren.
She was a member of the Christian Church of Prairie City.
