T. D. Johnson, Former Resident Buried In Newton
The body of T. D. Johnson, 83, former Newton resident, was brought here from Council Bluffs this morning for burial at 10:30 a.m. in the Newton Union cemetery. Dr. John W. Bickett of the United Presbyterian church was in charge.
A son and a daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Johnson of Denver, Colo., accompanied the body here.
Mr. Johnson, who left Newton 48 years ago, died Saturday and funeral services were held Sunday in Council Bluffs.
