Former Newton Resident Buried in Des Moines
Funeral services for Charles Higby, 62, former Newton resident, were conducted from the Omares Funeral home in Des Moines Tuesday and interment was in Glendale cemetery.
Mr. Higby died at the Broadlawns General hospital in Des Moines Sunday, March 7, as the result of an illness of dropsy.
Mr. Higby, resident of Newton for 25 years, left here 10 years ago.
