Kenneth Erb, 30, Dies At Hospital
Lingering Illness of Heart Trouble Fatal to Newton Resident Sunday
Kenneth L. Erb, 30, 323 West Second Street South, died Sunday at 8:34 a.m. at the Skiff Memorial Hospital, following a lingering illness of heart trouble and dropsy.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Morgan Funeral Home Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. W. E. Longdin, pastor of the Assembly of God Church. Burial will be at Pleasantville, Ia.
Mr. Erb had been in ill health for the past year and had been unable to work during that time. He had been re-admitted to the hospital for treatment Dec. 16.
Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Harriett Harper Erb, who is employed at the Coney Island Lunch, a daughter, Virginia, 4 years old, and his mother, who lives in Knoxville. A sister, Mrs. M. E. Ruth, lives in Newton.
