CLEAR CREEK – Stephen Dullard, 68 -year old bachelor farmer and stockman, died at Mercy hospital in Des Moines Sunday morning, April 25, from a stroke suffered a few days before.
His family were pioneer settlers in the vicinity of the present towns of Farrar and Valeria.
He is survived by two brothers Cornelius and John Dullard and three sisters, Johanna Dullard, who kept house for him, Mrs. Maloney of Bondurant and one other.
He was a member of the Catholic church.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, April 21, at the Holy Cross church and burial was in the Holy Cross cemetery, northwest of Valeria.
