Mother Of R. B. Davis Dies At Manchester
Mrs. Elizabeth Davis, 88, of Chicago, mother of R. B. Davis of Newton, died Sunday night in a hospital at Manchester, Ia. She was the widow of a Civil war veteran.
Funeral services will be held at Manchester at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday and those attending from here will be the son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Davis, two grandchildren, Mrs. W. H. Spellman and Joe Davis, and two great grandchildren, Carol and Alan Spellman.
Mrs. Davis had visited in Newton a number of times and was known to a number of local residents.
