F. J. Clark, 69, Dies in Oklahoma
Newton Man Taken Ill While visiting Relatives; Body Brought Here
Frederick James Clark, 69, of Newton, died Sunday morning at the Shattuck hospital at Woodward, Okla., following an illness of aremic poisoning. A son, William A. Clark of Newton, was called to the bedside of his father last week.
Mr. Clark was taken ill while visiting at the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Dr. and Mrs. M. K. Ingraham at Mooreland, Okla.
The body arrived in Newton this morning, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Morgan funeral home, with S. A. Bullers of Newton in charge. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Victor, Ia.
Mr. Clark was born May 9, 1867, at Ladora, Ia., the son of William and Wilhelmina (Lyman) Clark.
Surviving relatives include his son, William A. Clark of Newton; three grandsons, Billy, Jimmy and Frederick Clark, all of Newton, and his sister, Mrs. Ingraham of Mooreland, Okla.

Conduct Clark Services Today
Rites Held in Newton For Fred J. Clark; Burial at Victor, Ia.
Funeral services for Fred J. Clark, 69, Newton resident who died Sunday at Woodward, Okla., were conducted from the Morgan funeral home today at 10 a.m. by the Rev. S. A. Bullers of Newton.
Mrs. Charles Schwarz, accompanied by Mrs. H. L. Redeen, sang, “In the Garden” and “City Foursquare.”
Following the rites, the body was taken to Victor, Ia., for burial in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Pallbearers were Fred Breece, Clyde Breece, Lee Breece, Hollis Fisk, James Anderson and Louis Schlesserman.
Mr. Clark was taken ill while visiting in the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Dr. and Mrs. M. K. Ingraham, at Mooreland, Okla.
Surviving relatives are his son, William A. Clark of Newton; three grandsons, Billy, Jimmy and Frederick Clark, all of Newton, and his sister, Mrs. Ingraham of Mooreland, Okla.
