Mercer, MO: Donna Ruth Ann Moss, 73, Mercer, MO (formerly of Newton, IA) passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at a Des Moines, Iowa hospital.

Donna was born April 18, 1945 in Mercer, Missouri the daughter of Arthur Perry and Hazel (Hashman) Berndt. They preceded her in death.

She was a 1963 graduate of Mercer High School. On June 2, 1963, she married Joe Mack Moss in Princeton, Missouri.

Donna and Joe lived in Newton, Iowa for 35 years before moving to Mercer. She worked at the Vernon Advertising Company. Donna was a 26 year member of the Mercer Baptist Church where she served as treasurer. She was also a union member of the United Auto Workers for 30 years.

Donna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting pictures and reading. She loved her kittens and was the type of person to be busy all the time.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Joe, of the home in Mercer, MO and a brother, Rex (Mary) Berndt also of Mercer.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 25 at Roberson Funeral Home, Princeton, MO. Burial will follow in Early Cemetery, Mercer, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Friday at Roberson Funeral Home, Princeton, MO where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Friday.
