Strawn - On Monday, May 17, 1877, Eva, wife of A. C. Strawn, aged about 23 years.

The deceased was born in Washington County, Ohio, and immigrated to Indiana with her parents when quite a child. She was married to Mr. A. C. Strawn, Sept. 26, 1872, moved to this State August 1876, soon after which she embraced the religion of our Lord Jesus Christ, lived in the full assurance of a blessed mortality and died May 17th, 1877, in the triumph of a living faith, her last words being, “Blessed by the name of the Lord." ~ Prairie City (IA) News 18 May 1877
