GILMAN -- Mandi Faye Ehler, 18, of Gilman died Wednesday, Sept. 8, from injuries sustained in an auto accident on Highway 30 near Montour.

Funeral services were held today at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell with the Rev. Larry Pauley, pastor of the Kellogg United Methodist Church, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Mandi Faye Ehler Memorial Fund.

The daughter of Stefanie "Stevi" Ehler, she was born Jan. 17, 1986, in Marshalltown. She was raised in Gilman and was a 2004 graduate of East Marshall High School. She was employed at the Meskwaki Casino in Tama.

Survivors include her mother, Stevi of Killduff; one brother, Levi Ehler of Gilman; her fiancé, Levi Todd of Gilman; her grandparents, Henry and Janis Ehler of Kellogg; two aunts and uncles; and several cousins.
