KIRKSVILLE., Mo. -- Robert "Bob" Edward Brush, 82, of Kirksville, Mo., formerly of Lynnville, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Twin Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Friends Church in Lynnville with the Rev. Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery in Lynnville. Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, Mo., is handling arrangements.

Visitation will be held today from 4 to 7 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.

The son of Leonard A. and Mabel M. (Cope) Brush, he was born Jan. 20, 1922, in Lynnville. He was raised in Lynnville, where he received his education. In 1950, he moved to Kirksville, Mo. He raised horses most of his adult life. He enjoyed rodeos, country music and trucks. He delivered meals to shut-ins in Kirksville and enjoyed helping people. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Mark Clemons of Sun Prairie, Wis.; a niece; a sister-in-law, Eyelene Brush of Lynnville; one great-niece; and several great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dale and Cleo Brush.
