Berry Infant

The little son of Mr. A. D. Berry, of Clyde, died Friday morning. He got a grain of corn lodged in his windpipe, and was taken to Iowa City where an operation was performed. It was pronounced a success, and the boy was sent home, but he died in a few days. It is likely that some investigation of the physician who performed the operation will be made. Mr. Berry has been deeply afflicted, having also lost a little daughter quite recently. ~ The Newton Record, Newton, IA, Thursday, August 11, 1898
