The little three month old babe of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thompson died Saturday evening after a few days’ illness of cholera Infantum. This morning brief services were held at the home in North Newton conducted by Rev. C. N. Tenny, of the Baptist Church, and then the body was taken to Grinnell, where Mr. and Mrs. Thompson resided before coming to Newton last fall.

Besides the parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Pierce, the father and mother of Mrs. Thompson, accompanied the remains to Grinnell for burial. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, Monday, May 27, 1907, Page 1, Column 3
