Roy W. Henning, Lifelong Kellogg Resident, Dies
Roy William Henning, 64, of Rt. 2, Kellogg, a lifelong resident of the Kellogg community, died this morning at Marengo Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Johnson Chapel.
The Rev. Charles Fry, former Kellogg minister who is now pastor of the Carlisle Christian Church, will conduct the services.
Burial will be in Our Silent City Cemetery at Kellogg.
Mr. Henning will lie in state at the funeral home after Saturday noon.
Survivors are two sons, John Henry and Robert Henning, both of Hartwick; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Florence) Cooper of Kellogg; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in 1945 and a brother.
The son of Michael and Mary Wolfe Henning, he was born June 20, 1901 at Kellogg and was educated in Kellogg schools.
He was married to Samantha Davis July 30, 1927 at Centerville.
