Services Held for Lloyd C. Hulse
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 4th for Lloyd C. Hulse of Van Meter. Mr. Hulse passed away January 1 at the age of 74 years. He was a widely known resident of the Van Meter Community, having resided there since 1914.
Services were held at the Van Meter Methodist Church. Rev. Milton Lenz officiated.
Mr. Hulse is survived by his wife, Geneva; a son, Richard of Van Meter and a daughter, Mrs. Joanne Jones of Winterset; and five grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister (Leota) Mrs. S. J. Roberts, Los Angeles, Calif.; and three brothers, Earl and Harry of Des Moines and Otha of Mingo.
