Ghrist Burial Here Tuesday
Graveside rites for Charles Robert Ghrist, 66, of Chariton, Iowa, were held at the Colfax cemetery Tuesday afternoon. Interment was beside his parents, the late John and Lydia Ghrist.
Mr. Ghrist died Monday, October 3rd, death being due to a cerebral hemorrhage. He spent a portion of his early life in Colfax. He is the last of his family, a brother Harry Ghrist preceded him in death, and a sister, Mrs. John P. Reese, who lived in Des Moines, presumably so, as she was unable to be located by those in charge.
