Mrs. Ola Cunningham, who was called to Duluth, Minn., a week ago by the serious illness of her sister, Mrs. Lottie Martin Taylor, returned this morning with the body and son, Earldean, who is about two years of age.

Mrs. Taylor had not been well for sometime but the first that the friends here knew of her illness was a week ago yesterday, when a message arrived asking some of her home folks to come immediately. She had gone to the hospital for treatment and an operation, and it was there her death occurred.

Deceased was born in Newton 28 years ago last December, attended the public schools and was well known here. She was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Taylor. She has but one child, the little son, who is not at her parents’ home.

The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon from the William Martin home in West Newton. Rev. Scripter of the Free Methodist Church will have charge of the services. ~ The Newton Daily News, Friday, April 26, 1907, Page 1, Column 3
