James Binkard and wife, of Lynch, Nebraska, were here calling on old acquaintances here Thursday. Mrs. Binkard was called here to attend the funeral of her sister, Mrs. Dayton McClanahan, who lived near Farrar. The funeral was held from Buena Vista church Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. Dayton McClannahan died at her home near Farrar Monday. The funeral services were conducted by her former pastor, A. Q. Garret, of Hixson Grove, near Newton. Mrs. G. came with him for the funeral.
