Mrs. Frank Cleverly died at her home Thursday, December 6, 1917, after several weeks illness. The funeral was held at the home Saturday at 2:00 p.m., and interment was at Peoria.
Cora Maxwell was born in Missouri forty-two years ago and came to Jasper county, Iowa, near Mingo, when a babe. Here she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage with Frank Cleverly, in June 1896. To this union four children, Charles, Orville, Ethell and Agnes, were born, and with the father survive. She also leaves her aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Maxwell, three sisters, Mrs. Arch Galloway of LeRoy, Minn., Mrs. Mary Owens of Peoria, Mrs. Pearl Snook, four brothers, Oscar Maxwell of Elk City, Idaho, Charley, Ira and Bert, with other relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
