Mrs. George Woolard, whose death occurred at her home south of this city Tuesday afternoon a little after five o’clock, was stricken with paralysis several months ago. It was thought at first that she could live but a few days, but as time went on she recovered a little each day, and has lingered along all these months, almost helpless. Some time ago she was taken to the Sanatorium, where she was cared for a number of weeks, but she could never be any better and death come as a relief to her sufferings.

The funeral was held today from her home and the interment was in the Newton Cemetery. ~ The Newton Daily News, Thursday, March 7, 1907, Page 4, Column 4.

Note: cemetery records spell the name as Woolyard.
