Death of Infant
Leland Carroll, the seven months old son of Mr. and Mrs. I. F. Salisbury, passed away Tuesday morning, August 24th, 1931, death being caused from pneumonia. The little fellow had been frail since birth and could not resist the illness when it came about a week ago.
Besides his sorrowing parents, he leaves three brothers, Rollin, Merwyn, and Wendell to mourn his passing.
His grandfather and grandmother together with uncles and aunts regret his untimely going.
Hush my dear, lie still and slumber, holy angels guard thy bed.
Heavenly blessings without number, gently falling on thy head.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Methodist Church with Rev. L. C. McDonald officiating.
A quartett of young ladies, Misses Dorothy Forker, Margaret Shissler, Dorothy Cummings and Margaret Reynolds, with William Cubit at the organ, furnished the music.
Six boys all wearing white outfits acted as pall bearers. They were: Gale Sharples, Gale Tilton, Price Warthman, Clyde Everett, Wilson Forker and leslie Cubit.
Interment was had at the Colfax cemetery.
