Their Only Child Taken

Rollie Benjamin and wife have the sympathy of our people generally in the great affliction which has come to them in the death of their only child ­ little three-year-old Beulah which occurred last Sunday night at their home in this city. The disease was cholera infantum and the little one had been ill about ten days.

Funeral services were held at the home on Tuesday at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. C. V. Cowan, after with the remains were taken to Wittemburg Cemetery for interment. ~ The Newton Record Thursday, Newton, IA, September 15, 1898
