Mrs. Thomas Baldwin Died Mon., April 14
Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Baldwin, 91, a resident of Colfax since 1962, died Monday, April 14, 1969 at Monterey Park, Calif. She had been residing in California, the past four months.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Morgan, she was born April 1, 1878 in South Wales.
She was married to Thomas Baldwin at What Cheer, Iowa. They came to live in Colfax in 1902.
Mrs. Baldwin was a member of the Colfax Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1942.
Surviving are three sons, Roy Baldwin of Monterey Park, Calif., Claude Baldwin of Newton and David Baldwin of Albia; eight grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a sister, Mrs. Morgan Jones of Omaha, Neb.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 18th at 2 p.m. at Walters Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. Charles Wilder, minister of the Colfax Baptist Church will conduct the services.
Burial will be in the Colfax Cemetery.
