Word comes from Ira that Mrs. Cynthia Tramel died in Des Moines last week, where she had undergone an operation at the Iowa Sanatorium. The funeral was held on Wednesday of this week and interment was at Union Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Tramel had lived near Ira many years and had many friends who sympathize with the sorrowing relatives. She leaves four children, Walter Tramel and Mrs. George Whitehead, near Ira, William Tramel of near Baxter, and Mrs. Arthur Alsbaugh of Boulder, Colorado, and several grandchildren and many other relatives. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, Saturday, January 26, 1907, Page 1, Column 3
