Eleanor G. Des Camps, of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away, June 7, 2018, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Eleanor was born, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Gertrude L. (Richie) & Antone H. Gundram on June 7, 1930. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs.
On February 13, 1951 Eleanor married the love of her life, Dwight A. Des Camps.
She was a homemaker, and for a short time worked with Dwight at Rolscreen in Pella.
Eleanor enjoyed raising her children, playing cards with friends, she loved to cook and often cooked enough for the whole neighborhood. She was also talented at knitting and crocheting, and often gave her creations as gifts.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Dwight and daughter; Toni Querrey.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her children; Richard (Peggy) Des Camps of Hiawatha, Rick (Linda) Des Camps of Knoxville, Randy (Marilyn) Des Camps of Knoxville, Myra Kolpin of Newton, and Audrey (Larry) Bumgardner of Knoxville, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, also two brothers; Donald Gundram of Rolla, MO and Charles Gundram of Newton and one sister; Charlotte Allard of Rolla, MO., also many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. until service time, with family present. Service will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the Winfield Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Breckenridge Cemetery in rural Marion County. ~ The Winfield Funeral Home, Knoxville IA 07 June 2018.
