July 14, 1927 - May 6, 2018Rev. Dale Paul Krampe was born July 14, 1927, in Marshalltown, son of the late David Krampe and wife, Laura Herzog Krampe. He passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, in Washington, Mo., at the age of 90 years.
He grew up in Baxter, and graduated from Baxter High School. He received his bachelor’s in history from Mission House Seminary in Franklin, Wis., master’s in divinity from United Theological Seminar in Minneapolis, Minn., and an honorary doctorate from Yankton College in Yankton, S.D.
On June 25, 1953, Dale was united in marriage to Miss Helene Schultz at the United Church of Christ in Baxter.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Helene Krampe of Washington, Mo.; two sons, Paul Krampe and wife, Peggy, of Washington, Mo., and Carl Krampe of Marthasville, Mo.; two daughters, Lisa Schwarz and husband, Daniel, of Rosenberg, Texas, and Sara Haberman and husband, Duane, of Fordyce, Neb.; four grandchildren, Emily Krampe of Bozeman, Mont., Daniel Krampe of Washington, Mo., Jolene Kostal and husband, Jim, of Tyndall, S.D., and Lisa Hines and husband, Kelly, of Whitewood, S.D.; four great-grandchildren, Kelsey Stainbrook and husband, Jesse of Tyndall, S.D., Brody Fuchs of Tyndall, S.D., Zachary Ulmer of St. Cloud, Minn., and Noah Hines of Rapid City, S.D.; great-great-grandson, Miles Stainbrook; other relatives and friends.
