A humble, devoted, and beloved servant of the Lord was born Apr. 8, 1929, in Des Moines. Harold Ellis Hedrick was the youngest of three children born to Arthur and Inez (Core) Hedrick.
Harold graduated from the Knoxville High School with the Class of 1947. Following his graduation, he began a lifelong working career with the Rolscreen Company in Pella and was united in marriage to Margaret Hall. After a short absence while living and working in Rockford, IL, the couple returned to Knoxville, and Harold resumed his career with Pella Corporation, working his way from the factory into engineering services.

Harold not only became a husband, but also acquired four adult children and their spouses along with six young grandchildren. Danis lost her first husband, Donald Vander Linden, in 1977.
Harold devoted his life to their children and families and was a dedicated employee of the Pella Corporation for 36 years. He enjoyed woodworking, doing yard work, and bowling. Harold was always the one behind the camera.
Harold and Danis resided in Sully until a year ago when they moved to Vriendschap Village in Pella.
