Services Sunday For Clyde P. Fouch
Funeral services for Clyde Parker Fouch were held Sunday, Feb. 12, at the Monroe Methodist church.
Rev. Orin Young, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Burial was in Monroe cemetery.
Pallbearers were Cecil Rector, Floyd Shannon, Delbert Thomason, Henry Van Haalen, George Sellers and Harold Efnor.
Obituary
Clyde Parker Fouch, son of Clyde and Fannie Estel Fouch, was born August 15, 1900 at Rippey, and departed this life February 10 in the hospital at Oswega, N.Y.
His entire childhood was spent around Monroe. He was united in marriage to Cleo Belle Cowman on October 24, 1922.
The first five years of his marriage was spent farming, and the rest of his life he spent working at construction work which took he and his wife to all parts of the United States.
During World War II he enlisted in the sea-bees. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Methodist church.
Besides his widow Cleo, he is survived by his father; one brother, John; one niece, Mrs. Don (Joyce) Cox of Pleasantville; two nephews, Darrel of La Plata, Mo., and Clyde of Pleasantville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
