Rites Conducted For Mrs. O. B. Jones
Funeral services for Mrs. Ora B. Jones, 87, of Monroe, who died Monday morning at the Skiff Memorial hospital in Newton, were held Wednesday at Crumpacker Funeral Home in Monroe.
The Rev. O. H. Young, pastor of the Monroe Methodist church, conducted the services. Burial was in Monroe cemetery.
Mrs. Jones is survived by five sons, Ivan Jones of Minneapolis, Minn., J. W. Jones of Monroe, Orville Jones of Linden, Theodore Jones of Bagley and Bernard Jones of Des Moines; and a daughter, Mrs. Cora Godwin of Yale.
The daughter of Harden and Nancy Lewis, she was born March 2, 1873 in Davis county. Educated in Davis county schools, she was married April 6, 1892 to William Edward Jones, who farmed for many years in the Monroe community.
