Mr. Amos Alford, after six long years of helplessness from paralysis, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S. M. Robb, northeast of this city, last Friday, and was buried in the Wittemberg Cemetery, on Sunday. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. J. Rice, assisted by Rev. Dr. J. B.
