Shirley Ann McCombs, age 72, of Reasnor, Iowa, passed away on Sunday evening, December 17, 2017 at Pella Comfort House. She was born on February 15, 1945 to Augie and Grace (Long) Knight.

She married Ronald Lee McCombs on December 27, 1964 in Albia, and they were blessed with four children: Ronald Jr., Donald, Matthew, and Micheal. She enjoyed camping, knitting, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Ronald Lee of Reasnor; children, Ronald Jr. (Macy) McCombs of Albia, Donald McCombs of Reasnor, Matthew (Lisa) McCombs of Haver Hill, Micheal (Julie) McCombs of Grinnell; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren, one sister Diane Vos of Newton, and nephew, Dustin Dixon of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia with Jeff Shaw officiating. Burial will follow services in Cuba Cemetery near Avery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017, opening to the public at 4:00 p.m. and Shirley’s family will be present from 6-8 p.m., Thursday evening at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia.
