Miss Lily Hagedorn, fourteen-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hagedorn, died yesterday about 1 o’clock after a week’s illness with pneumonia. The funeral will be held from the German Lutheran Church at 1 o’clock tomorrow. Before going to the church short services will be held at the home.

Several other members of the family have been very sick, and a son is very ill with pneumonia, little hope being entertained that he will recover. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, Friday, February 23, 1906, Page 4, Column 1
