TERODES, LAMBERT

This afternoon the remains of Jay Terodes, who died at the home of his sister, Mrs. George Lambert, in Des Moines, after a short illness of only five days, with spinal meningitis was brought to this city for burial this afternoon.

Jay was born in this city about twenty-seven years ago. His father while they resided here was conductor on what is now the Monroe branch of the Rock Island Ry. For the past seventeen years Jay’s home has been in Des Moines, since his father’s death, some years ago, his home has been with his sister, Mrs. Lambert.

At the cemetery short services were conduced by Rev. E. F. Leake. Those attending the body to his city were Mr. and Mrs. George King, Mr. and Mrs. George Lambert, sister of the deceased, a brother, Rodney Terodes, Mrs. Mary Handley, their former housekeeper, and Ned Frase and Mr. Col.
