S. H. Beals and daughter, Miss Ona, and Mrs. Will Baker, returned home last evening from Kellogg, where they had been to attend the funeral of I. C. Hinshaw, who was a nephew of Mr. Beals. Mr. Hinshaw last Wednesday, while working on a bridge, fell and was instantly killed. His mother, a widow, resides at Kellogg. The last time she saw her son was four weeks ago when he had stopped to take dinner with her on his way to Eldon with a bridge gang, where the fatal accident occurred. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, Monday, October 9, 1905, Page 1, Column 2
