Mrs. Schaumberg Dies This Noon In Skiff Hospital
Mrs. William Schaumberg, 61, died at about noon today in Skiff Memorial hospital. She had been a patient there since Jan. 1.
She is survived by her husband who lives at 1002 West Third street South; a son, Delbert, also of Newton; and a daughter, Mrs. Don Edwards of Kellogg. Also surviving are three grandchildren.
Her body is at the Toland Funeral Home. Arrangements have not yet been completed for her funeral.

Rites Friday for Mrs. Schaumberg At Local Chapel
Funeral services for Mrs. William Schaumberg, 61, Newton woman who died at noon yesterday at Skiff Memorial hospital after a lingering illness, will be held tomorrow afternoon at two o’clock at Toland Funeral Home.
In charge of the services will be Rev. Carlton F. Rohr of Kellogg, and burial will be in Newton Union cemetery.
Mrs. Schaumberg lived most of her life in Jasper county. She was born Aug. 29, 1890, in Clinton, Ill., to Albert and Mary Lochner. Survivors are her husband, one son and one daughter, three grandchildren and eight brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by a daughter.
Soloist at the services will be Dick McKibben with Mrs. Paul Murdy as organist. Mrs. Lloyd Scoville and Mrs. Gerald Altman will be in charge of flowers.
Pallbearers will be Lloyd Scoville, Francis Schaumberg, Marion Brantner, Leslie Schaumberg, Durland Schaumberg and Paul Edwards.
