Life Story of Mabel Terpstra
Mrs. Martin S. (Mabel Alice) Terpstra, 88, a former resident of rural Reasnor, died Monday at the Skiff Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Reese chapel.
Dr. Richard Bentzinger, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, conducted services with burial in Hewitt Cemetery near Reasnor.
Survivors are a sister, Grace Rinehart of Newton; a number of nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Carl Rinehart and Murry Rinehart.
The daughter of Sherman and Mary Rinehart, she was born July 17, 1891 on a farm near Reasnor and attended Jasper County schools.
She was married Aug. 18, 1915, at Reasnor.
