Infant Dies Shortly After Birth Sunday
Carol Ann Schermerhorn, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Schermerhorn, died shortly after her birth at the home Sunday morning.
This is the first child in the home. The couple lives at 734 ½ East Tenth street North. Mrs. Schermerhorn was formerly Myrtle Harter.
Funeral services were held at the home at 10 a.m. today with Dr. L. B. Logan, pastor of the Methodist church, in charge. Burial was in Newton Union cemetery.
