Services Held for Tod Nuzum
Tod M. Nuzum, 8-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Mitchell of Baxter, died Thursday night March 11, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines from injuries received in an accident March 6, north of Baxter.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Bethany United Church of Christ, east of Baxter.
The Rev. Harold Behle, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Burial was in the Bethany Cemetery.
Survivors are his parents; three sisters, Valarie, Vickie and Staci; and two brothers, Al and Frost; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Nuzum of Panora and Mr. and Mrs. Al Waterhouse of Maxwell.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1970.
The youth, a second grade student at Baxter Elementary School, is the son of Sandra Waterhouse Nuzum Mitchell and the late Bill Nuzum Jr. He was born November 18, 1967 at Newton.
Organist – Mrs., Leroy Allspach.
Soloist – Mrs. Max Butler.
Pallbearers – Frank Warner, Albert Schmidt, Roger Butler and Don Allspach.
