John William Hobbs, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hobbs of Hickory Grove township died at the home of Mrs. Hobbs’ parents Mr. and Mrs. Williams at Rushville at 1 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the age of fifteen days. Short funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Williams home with Rev. Harold Fletcher pastor of the local Methodist Episcopal church in charge of the rites. Burial was made in the Rushville cemetery.
